MariaDB Certified Database Administrator Associate
MariaDB's own proctored DBA certification exam, covering configuration, security, user and role management, performance tuning, schema operations, backup and restore, and troubleshooting.
The MariaDB Certified Database Administrator Associate exam is proctored and administered directly by MariaDB, letting DBAs demonstrate hands-on MariaDB expertise to employers and colleagues through an interactive, real-world-style test rather than multiple choice alone. It’s offered both in person and remotely.
MariaDB recommends preparing with its three-day Standard DBA training course (online or on-site) or having at least a year of hands-on MariaDB experience before attempting it; a dedicated DBA Associate Certification Exam Prep course is also available to review the subject areas and exam format directly.
