Sequelize
A promise-based Node.js ORM with first-class MySQL and MariaDB support, alongside Postgres, SQLite, SQL Server, and other dialects.
Sequelize provides a model-based, promise-driven ORM layer for Node.js, with solid transaction support, associations and eager/lazy loading, migrations, and read-replication support for scaling reads across multiple MySQL servers. Its MySQL and MariaDB dialect is built on the mysql2 driver under the hood, alongside separate dialect packages for Postgres, SQLite, SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle, and Db2.
It’s released under the MIT license and has been a fixture of the Node.js data-access ecosystem since 2014, maintained by the Sequelize community through an Open Collective-funded core team.
