Datagrit
A Seoul-based database company behind GritDB, an in-house database engine with a built-in analytics engine and compatibility with PostgreSQL and MySQL, and GritKit, an AI-powered tool that automatically tunes parameters and indexes of open-source databases.
Datagrit Corp. is a database company headquartered in Seoul, Republic of Korea, that describes itself as an AI-powered data platform for intelligent applications. It aims to reduce customers’ data-operation costs, and it builds two products: GritDB and GritKit.
GritDB is built on what Datagrit calls a 100% in-house engine combined with full compatibility with open-source relational databases — the company states it is 100% compatible with PostgreSQL and MySQL. It adds GritSurfer, a dedicated analytics engine for high-performance data analytics on the same database, and uses GritKit for automatic tuning of parameters, indexes, and partitions.
GritKit automates database operations for open-source RDBMS. Its auto knob tuning adjusts hundreds of configuration parameters for peak performance, auto indexing manages thousands of indexes as queries change, and daily reports diagnose and optimize the database to cut cloud RDBMS costs.
