Vultr Managed Database for MySQL
Fully managed MySQL clusters on Vultr's global cloud, with automatic failover to read-only replica nodes, off-site point-in-time backups, and single-tenant SOC 2 Type II–compliant infrastructure.
Vultr provisions and operates MySQL clusters with redundant failover replica nodes that continuously replicate from the primary and take over automatically if it fails, while remaining read-only otherwise to keep data consistent. Backups run automatically and are stored off-site, and all plans above the entry-level Hobbyist tier add user-initiated backups, cluster forking, and point-in-time recovery down to the minute, with up to 14 days of retention on 3-node clusters.
Each managed database runs on single-tenant compute, network, and storage for isolation, and the service is SOC 2 Type II compliant, making it usable for regulated workloads. It’s available across Vultr’s 30+ global data center regions, billed hourly with storage and egress metered separately from compute.
