SimpleBackups
A backup service that schedules, monitors, and restores MySQL backups to the storage of your choice, for self-hosted servers and managed MySQL from AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, DigitalOcean, PlanetScale, and more.
SimpleBackups automates MySQL backups without hand-written scripts: it connects to a MySQL server directly, through a bastion host, or through a locally installed agent, runs backups on a schedule (including grandfather-father-son rotation), and stores them on cloud or on-premises storage you connect, or on its own SimpleStorage. It monitors backups for failures and anomalies, and restores with one click or a custom method.
It supports self-hosted MySQL and managed services including Amazon RDS, Google Cloud, Azure, DigitalOcean, PlanetScale, Vultr, Scalingo, OVH, Scaleway, Aiven, and UpCloud. Backups are encrypted at rest and in transit with AES-256, SSL, and your own private key. SimpleBackups states it is ISO 27001 certified and GDPR compliant. Plans run from a free Basic plan (one backup job) to paid monthly tiers, with a seven-day trial.
