JawsDB MySQL is a Heroku add-on that provisions a MySQL database for a Heroku app, available in Heroku’s Common Runtime and Private Spaces regions. Plans are billed hourly with a monthly cap, starting from the free Kitefin plan (5 MB of storage and 10 connections) up to large dedicated instances.
Plans include daily backups (kept for one to four days depending on plan), encryption at rest, direct SQL access, and Databites for built-in queries and reports; higher tiers add high availability with automatic failover.
