Exoscale Managed MySQL
Managed MySQL hosted exclusively in European data centers — Exoscale's DBaaS, powered by Aiven, billed per second with no upfront commitment.
Exoscale is a Swiss cloud provider, part of A1 Digital, whose DBaaS is powered by Aiven. Its managed MySQL runs exclusively in European data centers and is available in every Exoscale zone in Europe, positioned as a GDPR-compliant European alternative to AWS RDS.
Each database runs on dedicated infrastructure with TLS and encryption at rest, daily backups, automatic failover, and one-click major version upgrades. Plans range from Hobbyist (no replicas) to Premium (two replicas), with a 99.99% uptime SLA from the Business plan up. Pricing is usage-based and billed per second.
