Vadim Tkachenko is Technology Fellow and Co-Founder of Percona, a company he co-founded in 2006 to support open source database users. He has spent his career working on database performance, scalability, benchmarking, and technology research across MySQL and other open source database systems. At Percona, he has led research and performance evaluation efforts focused on databases, storage engines, filesystems, and infrastructure design.
Vadim is also widely recognized in the MySQL community as a long-time technical leader and co-author of High Performance MySQL. He serves as President of the OurSQL Foundation.
