Peter Boros is a database engineer focused on performance tuning and automation for large-scale systems. He joined Percona’s European consulting team in 2012 and worked there as a Principal Architect, and his career also includes Dropbox, Zuora, and Sun Microsystems. He is a Founding Engineer at Tigris Data, and has presented on MySQL architecture, backups, online schema changes, and sharding at conferences including FOSDEM and SCALE.
