HPTS is the 21st edition of a long-running workshop (since 1985) held at the Asilomar Conference Grounds, gathering systems researchers and engineers for position-paper talks, panels, and moderated discussion on large-scale systems design, transaction processing, and cloud computing. Program chairs for 2026 are Natacha Crooks (UC Berkeley) and Sailesh Krishnamurthy (Google).
