Percona Database Performance Blog

Percona's company blog — practical, technical articles on MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB performance, tuning, troubleshooting, and operations, written mainly by Percona's own engineers.

About

The Percona Database Performance Blog is Percona’s long-running technical blog, publishing how-tos, benchmarks, troubleshooting write-ups, and release coverage across MySQL, MariaDB, and Percona Server, its own tools (Percona Toolkit, XtraBackup, PMM), plus PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Posts are written mainly by Percona’s support and consulting engineers, with occasional community guest posts, and span query optimization, replication topology, and cloud deployments on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

Posts are organized by category (performance, security, how-tos, and more), and the blog offers an email subscription that bundles new posts into a weekly digest.
